Using the most advanced touch-screen technology, the Inkstation is able to test the electronics, refill under vacuum pressure, AND provide a print test for every cartridge. We can even tell exactly how much ink is left inside your cartridge! This really is the future of ink refills.

So how do we do it ? To better understand, maybe we should start at the beginning.....

One by one, we purchased every ink cartridge on the market. We then studied and disected them to find out just what makes them tick and, more importantly, the best way of making them tick again...

The most advanced technology...

....What we discovered is that nearly all refillable cartridges performed drastically better when refilled under vacuum pressure. This means removing all of the air from inside the cartridge before injecting the inks. But it didn´t end there.....

Not all cartridges are the same. Some have more ink where others have a different type of sponge material inside. The pressure inside a small cartridge is higher than in a large cartridge. Therefore many hours were spent discovering their exact quantities, empty and full weights, and the optimum injection method.

So we have a refilled cartridge but how do we know it´s going to work? Well, as the cartridges were individually studied, each ones "language" was discovered. This "language" is what your computer uses to tell the printer what, where and how to print.

This lead to the specifically designed and produced test printers that are fitted to each side of the Inkstation. These test printers can then tell us if the cartridge is fully functional and produce a print of each colour which we can use to see any faults and the exact print quality that it will produce.

Seeing how we knew each cartridges "language", a series of tests were produced to ensure each cartridge is in perfect working order. These tests include an electrical test, an id test, a print test, and our most recent asset....the ability to alter a cartridge serial number. This stops your printer remembering the cartridge and reading it as empty.

All of this is at your service and performed right in front of your eyes. No hiding in back rooms or hand filling with a plastic syringe.
